2-day tour: Marrakesh-Zagora Desert
On this intense but unforgettable tour you will discover one of the jewels of Morocco. A perfect getaway to connect with the magic of the country and recharge your batteries.
Day 1: Marrakech/ Ait Benhaddou /Ouarzazate /Draa Zagora Valley
Marrakech and Zagora desert tour will start at your hotel or riad. We will then head towards the high Atlas Mountains, at the 2260m summit (Tizi n Tichka). We will stop to take beautiful photos of the valleys and Berber villages. We will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the UNESCO heritage sites for this visit. Lunch will be at the Hollywood of North Africa called Ouarzazate. We will continue to the Draa Valley, along 200 km, and arrive at Zagora. We will then take a 1-hour camel ride through the dunes to watch the sunset.
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars while the locals perform their traditional folk songs for your entertainment.
Day 2: Zagora / Agdez High Atlas Mountains / Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and breakfast. Ride a camel to Zagora to reach your vehicle, then drive through the Draa Valley and Agdez to discover the hidden treasures of the southern region and continue to Ouarzazate where you will enjoy lunch and explore the city with its film studios. In the afternoon, you will return to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech around 6:00 p.m.
End of the tour through the Marrakech and Zagora desert.
